Positioned as Uganda’s first local digital-enabled Wireman market place, our innovative platform connects certified local electricians, technicians and lines-men to customers through a mobile job-tracking system that ensures quality, accessibility, and impact.

Street Wireman Agency; began in 2019, as a modest, hands-on wiring service, offering safe electrical installations to any customer we could physically reach. Our work was driven by a belief that safe, reliable wiring is a foundation for better lives. However, as we operated, we quickly faced persistent barriers: low wiring uptake, geographic limitations, lack of organized supply chains, and minimal strategic partnerships. These challenges limited both our growth and our ability to serve the rural communities that needed us most.
Rather than accept these barriers, we saw them as an opportunity to innovate for greater impact. We realized that to truly advance electrification, we needed to move beyond individual jobs and build systems that unlock energy access at scale. ST-WMN shifted from being a service provider to becoming a last-mile enabler—designing a model that not only connects certified electricians to communities but also integrates financing, digital tracking, training, and productive appliance deployment.
Today, Street Wireman stands as the first rural-focused electricity technician marketplace in Uganda, empowered to design and deliver projects that address rural energy adoption gaps. Our transformation has strengthened our internal capacity, expanded our geographic footprint, and elevated our relevance in Uganda’s energy access ecosystem.
